Thankful Thoughts

Morning! My name is Amy and I AM A CHILD OF GOD! Oh-it feels so good to say that aloud (Go ahead, join me and say it loud) and to type it. I want to shout it from the highest mountain. I want to share this with everyone. For we are ALL children of GOD. Makes my heart sing and my body do a little dance.

God is always with me but sometimes it takes something like Tuesday evenings for me to feel even closer to Him. Recently, I started meeting with a friend for dinner, fellowship, and Bible study. I am really enjoying it and it is a nice break from the usual, busy routine.

This time just reminds me that life is amazing.....life is everlasting. As the seasons change, so do we! I want to be closer to God! I want to thank Him for all He is doing in my life at this very moment and ALL He will do in my future. With Him I am everything I am meant to be! I give all my thanks to my Lord- creator of ALL things.

1 What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he's up to.
2-3But friends, that's exactly who we are: children of God. And that's only the beginning. Who knows how we'll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we'll see him—and in seeing him, become like him. All of us who look forward to his Coming stay ready, with the glistening purity of Jesus' life as a model for our own."
