Seek the Lord and live.........

Amos 5:6 (The Message)

6So seek God and live! You don't want to end up
with nothing to show for your life
But a pile of ashes, a house burned to the ground.
For God will send just such a fire,
and the firefighters will show up too late.

This scripture is very meaningful to me today.

Although, sometimes things seem very routine-we have been doing A LOT of living lately. We have defn. been in a waiting period with our adoption journey for awhile-Work weeks are full and lately weekends have been even busier. It makes time go by so fast and I need to be reminded to seek God from when I wake up to when I lay my head down to rest.

Last week we had our "biometric" fingerprints appointment.....very Star Trekish. Afterward, we celebrated with a trip to Whole Foods, the gym, and some quality husband/wife time. It was a very memorable day. And despite the rain- we did take a few pictures from the inside of our car!
