What we have been up to lately.....

In the last few weeks, we have learned that it is very easy to save money by cutting back on things....such as groceries. We have been eating a lot of beans and rice and incorporating ingredients that we already have on our shelves or freezer which includechicken, mushrooms and potatoes. Also, we love the Goya seasoning. It adds an extra bit of flavor to each meal we create. Here are just a few pics of meals we have had...

One evening I came home and to my surprise Rob made a great tapas meal...we had homemade bean dip, blue chips, risotto, and tomatoes with oil and spices. Well done Chef Roberto!

We had a very eventful weekend which started with our first Harkey Yard Sale. We made quite a bit of money. I did not take any pictures of our junk but did happen to capture a few of our fundraiser table...thanks so much to Jason, Emily, and Teresa for coming out and showing their support. By noon I was ready to wrap it up and very thankful for the rain that we prayed to stay away to show up around 12:30!

I want a t-shirt!!! I really like the women's fitted. Do the sizes run small? Also, would you mind if I reposted your fundraiser on my blog?
