We celebrated last night (just a day late) while watching American Idol with homemade Shamrock Shakes (I think they were actually better than the Mickey D's kind.)
My father is coming over tonight for turkey dogs...yum. Does anyone love turkey as much as i do? I use it for cooking everything from chili to lasagna.
We are heading to Carolina Beach this weekend. I am very excited for this getaway. And guess what BG gets to come this time:-)
Oh and guess what I bought today? It is my must have of the summer. Ok, give up? My summer purse. It is one of a kind and I can't wait to get it in the mail...might even post some pics of it! Can you guess who/where i got it from? It is from one of my colorful things sites....

I am a huge turkey fan but I don't like Thanksgiving turkey...weird I know. My summer must have are some long flowy dresses!
My must have for summer is a good pair of capris, and some nice dressy tops! Oh yeah, and a pair of old navy flip-flops to match every outfit :)
