We had a wonderful time this weekend at Hanging Rock in NC. It was much needed and it was nice to be able to really take in God's nature that surrounded us. We had great weather, tasty wine, and lots of food. We got to explore 3 different waterfalls, hike up Hanging Rock, and go on a trail not so clearly marked around a big lake. The weather was unbelievable and I could not have even dreamed of a better weekend.
We are back in full swing in the real world now....but at least we are more motivated and refreshed. I guess you can say we have "That Fresh Feeling" We are defn going to be making this trip every year!
Speaking of the real world, I had to go get my foot checked out today. It has been hurting since last Tuesday and the pain is irritating. Sometimes dull, sometimes sharp....but always there. Anyway, I will be wearing a black boot for the next two weeks to heal what may be a stress fracture. (which could have been caused by the run we took last monday).....crazy stuff. But I am telling myself that my foot is already starting to feel better...

I just love the mountains. We are planning to go rafting this summer. I love living in the middle of the state, well triangle, left to the mountains or right to the beach.
